Hi, folks...

Yesterday, while I was searching for more information to help me build my Countach, I found a place where you can build your own E.F.I.. They provide everything: schematics, PCB layout, mounting tips... and, of course, they sell kits for you to build this.

This E.F.I. can be hooked up into a computer (via serial port) and you can see every info about the car powerplant (that means the engine) you ever dreamed of.

They call this E.F.I. "MegaSquirt". They have a pretty number of users, and I believe I'll be one of them too.

That's all for now...

Hi, folks...

The last few days were very busy for me. I went to Detran (our local Transit Department) to see what are the recommendations about building your own car, and to my greatest surprise they aren't many.

As you can see here (sorry folks Portuguese only) all I have to do is to take the car to a place to have it checked for security issues, and after approved I just have to take it back to the Transit Department and they will give me the chassis ID. And then this number need to be printed by an certified agent. With the number printed the car goes back once more to the Transit Department to a new check. If everything is OK, the car is approved to receive its license plate. After that, it's just another car on the streets.

What did I say? "Another car on the streets"? What the heck! It will be MY car on the streets. The car I've dreaming for so long.

Anyway, that's all for now.

See you all...
